Manufacturers often use different locks for small service hatches and large storage doors – with different handles, different operation and a growing number of part numbers. CubeLine replaces that patchwork with a consistent system architecture.
A platform instead of a standalone solution
The CubeLine platform combines the 1-hand 1-point system (with or without compression) and the 1-hand 2-point system (without compression) into one concept, with an identical handle design and uniform operation. Both variants are available with optional central locking.
- One handle design for all door sizes
- 1-point and 2-point systems on a common architecture
- Reduced parts variety
- Design consistency throughout the vehicle
Two locking points, one mechanism
Large hatches need two locking points for a defined distribution of closing force. CubeLine achieves this with a central exterior lock and synchronized control via a wire rope system of adjustable length – which adapts to different hatch widths, allows flexible positioning of the locking points and simplifies series assembly.

Intuitive operation
When the cylinder is unlocked, the handle pops out automatically. To lock, the user simply presses it back in – no key required – and gets clear visual and tactile feedback. CubeLine is protected by German patent DE 10 2021 122 177.
