Modern RVs have many doors: the entry door, storage compartments on both sides, the rear garage, service hatches. Many of them still need their own key. At Caravan Salon 2026, STS presented a system that brings all of them together – and trade visitors and end customers gave it consistently enthusiastic feedback.
What the CU2 controls
The CU2 controls up to eight motorised locks, two potential-free switching outputs (for example awning, lighting or entry step) and two status inputs – plus a stainless-steel keypad, NFC and read access to the vehicle CAN bus. It is not tied to any vehicle make.
How it is operated
- Vehicle key – all hatches open with the manufacturer's key, via the base vehicle CAN bus
- Smartphone – within the OEM app, up to eight phones each with its own key
- PIN on the vehicle – 16 configurable codes, including expiring rental and service codes
- Keyless-go – locks automatically as soon as the owner walks away
One control unit. One app. No server.
Direct connection instead of cloud
Configuration, codes and the event log live in the control unit itself. There is no server, no user account and no running cost – the vehicle can be operated on a pitch without mobile coverage just like at home, and no movement data is generated.
Built for series production
Running direction, pulse duration and contact configuration are set per channel in the app, with a test run on the vehicle. That means one part number for all models, suppliers and mounting positions. Every command is individually signed, firmware updates are signed and roll back automatically if something fails.

We demonstrate the CU2 at your site and align actuators, CAN connection and mounting positions on a vehicle of your choice. Request a live demo.
